Elizabeth Bay and Potts Point contains Australia’s finest collection of original Art Deco apartments. Some are grand, others are more petit almost surreptitious.

It sits adjacent to the picturesque Beare Park with a set back entrance in the Art Deco style, a stucco facade with rounded balconies and covered porch. Inside it retains delightful cornices and stylish skirting boards both adding a tough of original chic. The new curtains, although modern, flow lazily onto the floor, the same design technique as shown the 1925 Parisian Art Deco Exhibition catalogue of the period exhibited by the famous designer, Jacques-Émile Ruhlman.

The overall compact design is a classic example of the “less is more” uber- efficient tight design idiom common in this period.
